Resin

Resin Art & Color Experiments

Working with resin is like controlled chaos—in the best way. I use a 2-part epoxy resin, which means I mix the resin and hardener together to kickstart a chemical reaction that eventually cures into a super glossy, glass-like finish. Once it’s mixed, the clock starts ticking, so I have to move fast.

I pick my colors based on what feels right in the moment—sometimes soft and moody, sometimes loud and bold. After pouring, I use a blowtorch (yep, an actual blowtorch!) to move the resin around and help create these organic, dreamy “cells.” It’s part science, part magic. No two pieces ever come out the same, and that’s the beauty of it. The whole process is fluid, intuitive, and always a little unpredictable.
